WEAT committees are responsible for guiding the Association’s technical and educational resource development, conference offerings, and public education resources. A number of committees, such as the Awards, Strategic Planning, Membership, and Young Professional committees, help guide WEAT policy development, put on WEAT events, and make sure that WEAT meets the needs of members. WEAT has thirty-five committees:
|KNOWLEDGE COMMITTEES||DELIVERY COMMITTEES||STAKEHOLDER COMMITTEES||MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES|

Perhaps the greatest benefit of committees is for the WEAT members who serve on the committees. Working on a committee is an opportunity to develop contacts, exchange ideas with peers from around the country, provides a means for professional recognition, and helps build careers. Most importantly, working on a committee is an opportunity to help shape the water quality industry today and for tomorrow.
