Regulatory and Legislative Activities

The Water Environment Association of Texas is dedicated to promoting the use of sound science in environmental policy and regulation. To support this goal, WEAT monitors activities at state regulatory agencies and the Texas Legislature in order to keep our members informed of developments. Comments or testimony are presented on behalf of WEAT when appropriate. In addition, WEF’s Government Affairs Committee monitors activities in Congress and important regulatory activity at federal agencies. Links to key legislative and regulatory sites are given below along with recent comments or testimony delivered on behalf of WEAT. Documents are in PDF format. Please feel free to contact WEAT’s Executive Director or Intergovernmental Affairs Committee if you have any questions.
