Welcome to the San Antonio Section of the Water Environmental Association of Texas (WEAT). Officially established in 2002, the San Antonio Section serves the San Antonio area and the surrounding cities and counties as the local section of WEAT, which is a Member Association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF).

The San Antonio Section is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with members from a variety of disciplines such as water, wastewater and environmental professionals, practitioners, operations specialists, students, public officials and enthusiasts.  Typically, the Section meets monthly, together with the local American Water Works Association (AWWA) Section for lunch and a presentation on a topic relating to the water, wastewater, or water reuse industry.  Other activities throughout the year include an Annual Scholarship Dinner, Bowling Social, San Antonio River Cleanup Days, Water for People Golf Tournament and Young Professional Socials.

Members of the organization are informed of Section events and announcements via email, this web site and through the Section's newsletter.  If you need to contact us feel free to do so by clicking here or by contacting any of the officers.
