Position Description

We are looking for a qualified individual to join our Houston (Webster) office. The primary job functions for this position is to provide project coordination from bid through completion, order entry, purchasing, customer service, and sales support to our sales representatives.

Position Salary

$50,000 - 65,000; Commensurate with Experience

Position Minimum Experience


- Minimum 5 years professional experience.
- Software: QuickBooks; Microsoft Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel. Adobe Acrobat.
- Detail-oriented, organized and continually strives for accuracy and quality
- Self-starter, with the ability to problem solve and follow-through with minimal supervision.
- Flexible, with the ability to work in a position where daily tasks are never the same
- Multi-tasker that can assist in all activities as needed in a small office environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A team player with a positive attitude; “all hands on deck”
- Dependable, on-time, and productive

- Experience with project plans/drawings and specifications
- Water and Wastewater industry experience


Preferred Education

Must have completed High School. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Scope of Responsibilities


- Coordinate project schedules from bid to completion. Ensures all project activities and phases are documented properly. To include – specifying equipment, purchasing, submittal coordination/reviewing, managing schedules, follow-up on installation requirements and final installation.

- Communicate directly with customers, end users, and vendors on quotes, orders, and projects.

- Prepare project bids/estimates and customer quotes. Utilize project plans and specs to ensure all products and services are quoted appropriately.

- Order management of products to include customer order entry, purchasing, and tracking. Work directly with customers and vendors to ensure orders are placed and delivered on schedule.

- Complete project submittal data and track submittal process. Supply O&M manuals as needed.

- Support outside sales representatives by soliciting and obtaining orders, researching potential accounts, tracking customer buying history, following up on leads, and seeking new opportunities to generate revenue.

- Provide customer service and support as needed by explaining technical features and information, suggesting related and new items, and following up on orders.

- Basic office tasks as needed including answering phones, shipping/receiving, and various others.

- Explore opportunities to add value to the company, job, and customers through added responsibilities and policy/process improvements.

- Maintain and improve job knowledge through industry research, product updates, and manufacturer training opportunities.
