The Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) is searching for a Membership Services Manager to join the team who shares our passion for service and will be a major contributor to the continued growth of our organization.


The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in an administrative and/or customer service role.

Employment Details:

The Water Environment Association of Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit technical and educational organization dedicated to promoting scientifically sound environmental policy and regulation.
WEAT is made up of approximately 2800 Texas professionals who dedicate their careers to protecting and enhancing our state’s water resources through the design, operation, maintenance, and regulation of wastewater treatment plants and technologies.
WEAT’s mission is to:

1. Meet the needs of its members for professional growth and development
2. Educate the public on water environmental issues
3. Benefit society through protection and enhancement of the water environment.

The WEAT office is located 1825 Fort View Road, Suite 108, Austin, TX 78704.

This full-time opportunity offers a base salary, benefits and flexible working schedule including pre-scheduled work from home days.

Position Minimum Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required for this position

Experience:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment collaboratively and independently
• Ability to handle multiple projects simulatneously
• Proficient in MS Office Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.)
• Skilled in updating website content using Craft or similar platforms
• Experience with GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar is a plus!

Qualifications

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree is required for this position

Scope of Responsibilities

• Manage membership, program invoicing and payments
• Support Executive Director and Association Manager
• General data entry
• Assist in promoting upcoming events (website and social media outlets)
• Assist in requesting payments and coding finances
• Provide outstanding service while supporting WEAT’s strategic goals and objectives
• Work with bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial coding
