PFAS have been detected in both the influent and effluent of wastewater treatment plants as well as in the biosolids. This webinar, produced by the WEAT Industrial Committee, will provide attendees with an overview of what PFAS are, source control strategies, treatment technologies, and regulatory trends at both the state and federal levels.

1.0 hour of CEU credit was approved by the TCEQ for wastewater and water utility operators.

Speaker: Susan Spore, AECOM

Moderators:

Jonathan Sandhu, Gulf Coast Authority

Tres Koenings, Plummer Associates

"The regulatory community in Texas and beyond is actively studying and evolving its understanding of PFAS in the environment, causing an increased pace of regulatory development. As an industry, it is important to stay ahead of these regulations to ensure they do not cause an issue for your site.”

- Tres Koenings, WEAT Industrial Committee Co-Chair
