Members of WEAT have an opportunity to get mentorship through the WEAT Mentoring Program. This program accepts applications for mentors and mentees in the spring. After the application period ends, the committee matches up mentors and mentees based on location, career, and personal interests from the applications. Then it is up to the mentor and mentee to schedule meetups and topics for discussion. This program is especially beneficial for members at smaller companies or utilities without a formal mentorship program. It can also be especially beneficial because it is outside the organization, where mentees may feel more comfortable talking freely about issues they are facing in the workplace.

The WEAT Mentoring Program is open to all levels of experience and provides for:

personal and professional development
getting connected, staying informed, and being part of a professional community
opportunity to share experiences and insights
