The Basic Wastewater Course is a 20-hour, video-based training program developed by the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) to introduce students and entry-level workers to the world of wastewater treatment and clean water careers.

Designed with high schools, workforce programs, and utilities in mind, the course provides a clear, achievable pathway toward becoming a Texas Class D Wastewater Operator.
