There are a lot of things happening at WEAT! Our desire is to encourage and develop dynamic leadership to help guide the way. This year’s Leadership Summit is focused on providing a forum for current and future Section Leaders and Committee Leaders to share strategies and learn from each other. Topics for Section Leaders include recruiting new members and encouraging the involvement of older members, shaping your outreach to the needs of your area, developing meeting topics and specialized training, fundraising ideas, and coordinating with the WEAT office. For Committee Leaders, it is an opportunity to discuss how to set goals, to bring out the talent and knowledge of the committee members without burning out your key people, to find what tools are available for developing educational programs and developing webinars, and conferences. We encourage each of you to invite a young member to attend to help our association to continue to grow.
This event is complimentary for both members and non-members to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
