WEAT's 2023 Eckenfelder Lecture Series will be held on November 9th at the Denton City Civic Center in Denton, TX.

The Eckenfelder Lecture Series was developed to honor Dr. W. Wesley Eckenfelder’s distinguished career as an environmental trailblazer spanning more than 60 years, during which time he taught and trained thousands of graduate and undergraduate students and professionals in the art and science of wastewater treatment.

Early Registration Fees (Deadline: October 25, 2023)

  • WEAT/WEF Member (Government/City Staff) - $80 ($120 after October 25, 2023)
  • WEAT/WEF Member (Private Sector) - $120 ($160 after October 25, 2023)
  • Student - $20 (reach out to Paula at for additional information)
  • Non-member (Government/City Staff) - $155 WEAT-only membership included ($175 after October 25, 2023)
  • Non-member (Private Sector) - $195 WEAT-only membership Included ($220 after October 25, 2023)

Sponsorship Opportunities

Networking & Event Sponsorship: $700

  • One complimentary registration
  • Recognition with thanks and logo at the Lecture
  • Name recognition on signage and PowerPoint during the Lecture and at the networking event

Student Sponsorship: $300

This will provide sponsorship for registration, meals, and lodging to a select few university students to support their participation in the Eckenfelder Lecture.
