This panel discussion will discuss the urgent need for skilled labor in construction and maintenance, questioning the contracting community's efforts to develop this workforce. It will also explore how Owners and Engineers can support adherence to schedules and structure supplier contracts to minimize delivery delays. It will also discuss the bidding process from a contractor's perspective and suggest improvements for Owners. Additionally, it will discuss collaboration between the Contractor, Owner, and Consultants to achieve successful projects. 1.0 credit hour will be awarded to Water & Wastewater Utility Operators by TCEQ.
