Building the Next Generation Clean Water Workforce: Perspectives on Recruiting and Retention from WEAT Leaders

Q2 Recovered 62

While the views on topics such as work-life balance, communication, work relationships, using data and technology vs. intuition and experience, etc. differ among the generations, focusing on the commonalities, exclusive of the generational differences, is what helps us to build a better culture within our organization and can impact both recruitment and retention. The webinar will focus on those actions companies have done to help with recruitment and retention (such as giving feedback, understanding what incentivizes them, changes to pay scales, etc.), what worked and didn’t work. Compensation always seems to play a large role in both recruitment and retention, and can be the biggest challenge for some organizations. This discussion will also focus on what these organizations are doing/have done/can do to recruit and retain staff in this industry.
