Operator Training Week: Intro to Sampling and Testing for Wastewater Operators

Pretreatment

This course provides a practical overview of regulatory requirements under TPDES, TLAP, and sludge authorizations, with a focus on sampling and monitoring for pretreatment and process control. Attendees will learn proper sampling techniques, flow measurement basics, approved analytical methods, documentation needs, and key safety considerations. Interactive exercises reinforce how to apply regulations, calculate composite samples, and evaluate chain-of-custody and lab reports. A Q&A session closes the training.
