Committee Engagement Award Nomination
The WEAT Committee Engagement Award honors a WEAT committee that reflects the highest standards of performance and impact to the organization.Nominees shall exemplify excellence, innovation, and commitment by making significant contributions throughout the past year to both the mission of their committee and mission of WEAT.Committees demonstrating outstanding performance will be judged based on the following criteria: 1. Meeting Frequency will be evaluated based on how consistently the committee holds its scheduled meetings throughout the year. 2. Attendance Rate will be assessed by the percentage of members who regularly attend committee meetings. 3. Support of WEAT Board will be recognized through active participation in WEAT’s Quarterly Board meetings, including attendance and the recurring submission of committee reports. 4. Event Organization will be considered by the number of committee-hosted webinars, seminars, or other educational events. 5. Community Hours will be measured by the total number of hours the committee dedicates to supporting community initiatives, such as K-12 STEM activities, collegiate events, or other community related engagements. 6. Innovation and Initiatives will be evaluated by the number and impact of new ideas or programs proposed and implemented by the committee, particularly those contributing to industry advancement or the improvement of water quality and environmental policy in Texas. 7. Industry Collaboration will be recognized through meaningful joint efforts with other committees or professional organizations.
