The City of Fort Worth is seeking to fill the position of Wastewater Systems Superintendent at the Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility. The person in this position will possess management and leadership skills needed to plan, direct, manage, and coordinate the operational and process control activities of a 166MGD water reclamation plant. The Wastewater Systems Superintendent directs the day-to-day operations of the Village Creek Water Reclamation facility and collaborates with other sections including maintenance and Instrumentation/Electrical sections, as well as other divisions, departments, consultants and outside contractors to ensure that the plant is operated efficiently, in compliance with all applicable regulations, and within established budget. The Conveyance System Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and supervising the operation, maintenance, renewal, and monitoring of wastewater conveyance and pumping facilities and associated systems; ensuring efficient and effective operations and environmental quality, and maintaining required health and safety standards. The Conveyance System Supervisor manages personnel and other resources so that NTMWD can meet regulatory compliance requirements and other District objectives. They are the senior operations person assigned to a conveyance system.
